I started with and mained an Elementalist like forever, it's just more fun for some people to start and stick with a complex class I guess, I'm a weirdo that way. #2. Reaper is better and easier to play for a beginner imo. Reaper Shroud gives you a second life bar, and I overall find them to be just a little more tanky and bursty than scourge.
