So here is my dilemma: i have a gba sp 001 and the screen is just not fun to play at all. I have considered replacing the screen with either an ags 101 or an ips v2 screen. I prefer the retro look, and i think that the ips kinda spoils it (correct me if im wrong) but it seems kinda hard finding a 101 screen to replace my own + there are not a Fans of the Game Boy Advance who prefer the SP's clamshell form factor generally find the AGS-101 to be the best experience. But this IPS screen kit can make My SP's power switch had similiar symptoms with pressure turning off the system. The system would also shut off if you very lighty pushed the power switch towards the off position. I fixed it with an overkill combination of 91% isopropyl alcohol, contact cleaner and some electronic safe canned air. I'm sure just the 91% alcohol itself would fix Once again, none of these issues occur when I either have the console plugged in or the battery is completely full. I have tested this card in a GBA SP (AGS-001) and a DS Lite, neither of which seemed to have this issue. I am going to try a friend's EZFlash Omega on my GBA soon, but I am pretty sure the issue is the console. It also is not a battery issue either as I just put in a known working battery, as well as the 950 mAh battery from Makho. I've been searching online for some schematics but can only find one for the ags-001 model. Supposedly with water damage, there can be an issue from D1 to F2.
